It was established on February 2, 1990.  The first community consisted of Sr. Carmela, Sr. Tessy, Sr. Gemini and Sr. Anns Tom. Sisters run a boarding house for the girls from different villages in the parish.  People belong to the Pumoue tribe are very simple and loving. People are very hard working. This is also a place where many are called to priestly and religious life. We have seven sisters from the very parish in the congregation.

It is to be noted that there are already professed sisters in different congregations. We are in collaboration with the MSFS fathers who are working in the parish. Through regular visits to the villages the sisters reach the medical facilities. Women empowerment is achieved through various developmental programs in the parish.
