It is a center 20 k.m. Away from Imphal. People of this area belong to the Kuki Tribe. The Vincentian fathers work in this area. It was started on 27th January 1997. Sisters are serving in the parish school and in the dispensary. People are very co-operative and willing to help all the time. The members of the first community are Rev. Sr. Mary Rose, Sr. Annie Ancheril and Sr. Jessy Jose. The Sisters live in close contact with the people, visit them and give them the necessary help to lead a fuller life as Christians. We had a humble beginning. Sisters were staying in one of the classrooms. At present the convent building is over and we have a house to stay. Some of the service the sisters do in the area are Education, family visit, conducting prayer service and MCH programmes and distribution of medicines, preparing the people for baptism, marriage etc.
